One of Marianne’s great joys in life is teaching and practicing yoga. As her practice has deepened over the past 13 years, she has discovered many ways to bring yoga from the mat into daily life. She enjoys reading the works of philosophers from the ancient stoics to current authors and loves to contemplate, apply and share their ideas about life and how to live it well. Yoga’s journey takes us on a beautiful search for our true self and helps us to understand how we all matter and belong in the greater universe. As part of her long career as an HR Director, Marianne has 15 years of experience guiding employee wellness programming across 13 different worksites. She has taught yoga in diverse settings, from the workplace and high school to yoga studios and among the flowers in her beloved dahlia garden. Her wish is to help people use yoga, self-knowledge, and self-compassion not just to manage life’s challenges, but to live their best life.
